We’re looking for an enthusiastic Production Compound Technician Apprentice to join our manufacturing team and learn the specialist skills needed to create the unique material blend that forms our “Anglian White” windows.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Compounder, you will learn how to prepare and measure precise quantities of powder compounds used in our extrusion machines. These materials are essential for producing high-quality windows, so your role will be key to maintaining our excellent standards.

You will be trained to:

  • Accurately measure and weigh powder ingredients
  • Follow detailed production formulas
  • Ensure consistency and quality in every batch
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
  • Work closely with the extrusion and production teams
  • Use basic maths skills to calculate quantities and adjustments

  • Competitive salary of £14,560 per annum (£8 x35 hours a week) for the first 12 months of your apprenticeship, increasing to NMW or NLW from 12 months
