Julie first joined Anglian in 1996 working evenings and weekends in our “link Line” team which is now our Contact Centre. As her children got older, Julie grew her hours and responsibilities as she progressed to Team Leader. From here, Julie has had a number of roles within our Guarantees and Product Development Departments, to her current role as Marketing Communications. Julie is a well-respected member of our team with a fountain of knowledge.
Carl started working with Anglian on the backshift toughening glass and after two years in the plant applied for a supervisor roles. Since then, he studied a degree in Management Studies and was promoted to Area Manager.
Martin started at Bowthorpe working on the sash cutting and prep work in the factory. Martin is now a mainframe saw operator and is very important to the production of the Factory.
Jonathan is a well trusted member of the team and is an inspiration to many of our new surveyors joining. During Jonathans longstanding career with Anglian, he has been hugely passionate about what he does, delivering excellent customer service to our customers, operations and sales colleagues.
Jason started work at Anglian, developing his skills over the years within our Glass factory. Jason is a skilled operatives that helps supports our new colleagues in their early weeks of joining on how we glaze windows.

Within Anglian we aim to communicate as widely and openly as possible with all our people and have an Intranet site, known to us as The Hive, which offers a platform where we gather as an internal community to search for whole host of information, share and communicate on numerous topics from business news, to charity events. Our people can share photos and stories, successes and interests and helps us communicate with everyone across our nation-wide organisation.
Listening to our people’s views and working together to find solutions is very important to us within Anglian. To aid our ability to communicate, we hold regular Employee & EHS Forum groups known as THE FORUM. These groups are all-encompassing covering EHS matters plus discussing people-related matters including training, charitable events, welfare topics, and other points of interest which our people would like to raise. The Forum is normally Chaired by a member of the Leadership Team with the fundamental aim to facilitate communication top down, bottom up and to share ideas, concerns and help deliver improvements across the business. Representatives attend The Forum Groups on behalf of their colleagues and truly have an opportunity to have a voice and help shape our organisation collaboratively.
The health of our people comes first and with the support of Occupational Health, we provide a whole host of ways to support our people’s health and well-being including health checks, eye and hearing testing. Other support offered to our employees comes in the form of Employee Assistance Program, digital GPs service, learning modules on many health and well-being topics and other general occupational health support and advice.
