Insight Data Assistant

Are you confident working with data and keen to build your career in business intelligence? We’re looking for an Insight Data Assistant to join our Marketing Insight team at our Head Office in Norwich. This is a great opportunity to turn data into clear, useful reporting that supports Marketing, the Contact Centre and wider business decisions.

Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, financial transactions or an ERP system such as JDE would be helpful, while a qualification in Statistics, Computer Science or a related subject would be an advantage.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the development of reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Helping to deliver BI projects from gathering requirements through to testing and implementation.
  • Monitoring Power BI service status, usage and reporting availability.
  • Checking data accuracy and creating reconciliation tools against source data.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop meaningful KPI dashboards.
  • Supporting reporting and automation projects across the wider Marketing team.
  • Keeping up to date with new Power BI developments and opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of Power BI, DAX and SQL, gained in the workplace or through education.
  • A confident, methodical approach to analysing and reconciling data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships across different teams.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and adapt to change.
