We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Technical and Engineering Administrator to support our technical and engineering department.

Role Overview:
As a Technical and Engineering Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and information across the business. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining product data within our company configurator software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests for technical information.
  • Perform CAD drawing tasks, including drawing amendments.
  • Manage document control processes.
  • Ensure technical documentation on the intranet is kept up to date.
  • Review product updates and obsolescence prior to release and make necessary changes to the configurator.
  • Support the product configurator and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Provide technical support and advice to the engineering department and other business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technical documentation and training materials.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve our processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the manufacturing and window and door industry.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical documentation.
  • Understanding and application of Boolean search terms
  • Proficiency in using configurator software and other technical tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
