An opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing company with a their Head Office based in Norwich - we are looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team. The role will include:

  • Conducting external audits to agreed schedules
  • Prepare and conduct 3rd party supplier assessments
  • Foster continuous improvement activity with suppliers manufacturing teams
  • Review and monitor supplier’s 3rd party certifications/accreditations
  • Management reporting
  • Root cause analysis with supplier’s management and quality teams

You will need the following experience:

  • Considerable experience gained within a Supplier Quality Engineering role or similar
  • Ideally educated to degree level in an engineering discipline ideally or time served
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 with experience of QE and Quality Assurance skills
  • QE Tool application including developing and implementing plans/procedures and data analysis such as 8D problem solving
  • Business linked KPIs and balanced scorecard methodology and CI understanding
  • Proven experience of building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
  • Managing 3rd Party relationships

The role can be based at any of our regional locations near the M1 corridor. Regular UK travel will be required to suppliers and head office in Norwich, so a full driving licence will be required - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
