Rare opportunity to join a busy and vibrant IT team based in Norwich - As a key lead in the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, patching and maintaining all network and infrastructure systems and technologies including:

  • Network - LAN, Ethernet & Wifi
  • External connectivity - WAN, IP, DMZ
  • Firewalling and load balancers
  • Storage Area Network (SAN)
  • Microsoft office 365 and I-series server
  • Knowledge of SQL and DB2 databases
  • Backup, restore management systems
  • Cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Problem and incident root cause analysis, resolution and preventative action planning
  • Disaster recovery planning

You will will manage and develop a small team of engineers and have the ability to work independently engaging with all stakeholders across the business.  Ideally a continuous learner staying ahead of a rapidly changing technology landscape and the following background:

  • Ideally you will have considerable experienced gained in a similar role successfully leading the technical management of complex infrastructure landscape
  • Degree or equivalent
  • MCP/MCSA/MCSE certifications
  • Proven experience of working within ITIL principles
  • Delivery of complex infrastructure projects
