Production Line Setter required to work in busy Factory located in Norwich. The Production Line Setter or Machine Setter will be working in our extrusion factory where the manufacturing process starts. This is a skilled and varied role within a non-food factory, where previous experience or relevant qualifications in mechanical machinery are beneficial for this role. Alternatively, if you have worked within the Press, Automotive or Pharmaceutical industrial factories, we would like to hear from you.

What the Role is

  • Monday to Thursday, rotating 12 hour day and night shifts ( 48 hours a week)
  • Setting up & effectively completing different Die extrusion during production runs
  • Removing a variety of used components and replacing after/during each production run ( no fixing of parts, just remove & replace)
  • Working to maximum yield potential, through consistent efficiencies during the shift
  • Using & understanding technical drawings to achieve efficiencies & reduce any down time

What we Need

  • 5 years Mechanical experience or relevant qualification
  • Experience or qualification of working within a factory environment
  • Used to working with hand- tools, gauges, dials & machinery
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, C Grade or above
