Anglian Home Improvements are searching for an Internal Auditor to join our vibrant Finance Team. The role of Internal Auditor will provide a professional and independent opinion on the organisation’s risk management, governance, and control processes together with a full audit cycle assessing control management over financial reliability and compliance with relevant directives and regulations.

What the Role is

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management across all operations
• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
• Offer independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal objectives
• Develop analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, review existing reports, data and flowcharts
• Identify high risk areas and recommend risk aversion measures together with follow up audits
• Identification of potential fraud/financial irregularities and whistleblowing allegations
• To keep up to date with employment law changes and statutory rates
• Prepare 12 month rolling audit plan
• Identification of control weaknesses

 What We Need

• Qualified, part qualified or QBE in accountancy or forensic accounting qualification
• Experienced in financial accounting and strong knowledge of reporting standards
• A strong interest in forensic accounting
• Broad experience of audit techniques
• Intermediate to advanced use of Excel
