Due to continual growth, we are looking for an experienced Field Service Manager to join our Houghton Regis depot.
Working within the Houghton Regis and surrounding areas, you will manage and deliver an excellent customer experience by overseeing the Service & Warranty side of our customer’s contract. This will be achieved through the effective co-ordination, inspection and monitoring of all aspects any service works. You will be responsible for ensuring that Warranty works are delivered within agreed timescales; that all works are completed to the Anglian standards of customer care, service and quality; that all work is performed safely, and all applicable health and safety requirements are followed.

Responsible for looking after 7-10 directly employed Service Engineers, monitoring KPIs around productivity, alongside all line management responsibilities.
To deliver an excellent customer experience in line with Anglian standards.
Ensure induction and all other Training records are kept updated in compliance with Anglian’ requirements.
Organise/implement additional training & development for Engineers as and when required
Ensure company communications are received, disseminated and understood, e.g. policy updates, changes in building regulations, health & safety toolbox talks etc.
Ensure that any remedial products are installed safely, in line with contract specifications and to the agreed time timescale to meet the defined Anglian standards.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with any statutory and local authority requirements.
To ensure that Company policies & procedures relating to the installation of products and associated health and safety requirements are always adhered to.
Ensure Employees comply with all Company guidelines and policies relating to safe manual handling and the transportation of products.
Conduct planned and unannounced inspections on installers, in particular to review corporate appearance, company vehicles, tools, PPE, access and any other equipment to ensure these are properly maintained and serviced in accordance with specified schedules.
Lead by example in promoting a positive health, safety & wellbeing culture
Promote the reporting of accidents, near-miss and unsafe condition
To handle all customer queries and complaints promptly with effective ownership
To be personally responsible for the remedial work of all S &I calls in liaison with the Regional Service Team management
To respond to and ensure satisfactory completion of I & S calls within Company timescales specified.
To conduct, as and when required, pre-site visits for any High level /Social Media complaints
To assist with recruiting new Installer teams and or Service Engineers
Where applicable, shared responsibility for the management of Service Engineers to ensure repairs are completed on time and to the Anglian standard.
What We Need
Experience of managing high volume residential or related construction projects
Experience of conducting site visits and maintaining standards.
Previous people management experience.
Full driving license
Flexibility may be required on occasion to work outside of contractual hours.
Good customer focus and ensuring “ a right first time” methodology is used
